Join Us for a Walking Tour of DFTU’s Completed Stream Restoration Projects

Date: June 27, 2026

Time: 9am

Meet: at the cul-de-sac on Cedar St., Cornwall, PA

Since 2019, DFTU has been working to restore streams in our territory (Lebanon & Dauphin Counties). We have recently completed two projects on the tributaries of the Quitty.

Get ready to dive into the exciting world of stream restoration, because if you’ve ever been curious about the impact of our efforts, your curiosity is about to be rewarded! We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our restoration projects on Beck Creek and the upper Snitz Creek near Cornwall, PA.

We look forward to sharing the results with you! Join Russ Collins, our Conservation Signing Officer, and Rocky Powell from Clear Creeks Consulting as we embark on a captivating tour. Together, we’ll uncover the rich history of our work on these projects and delve into the innovative designs that have transformed these waterways. Upon finishing in Cornwall, we will travel to the Beck Creek project.

It’s going to be an experience that you won’t want to miss! Please RSVP to russ@dftu.org.
