DESCRIPTION:With Special Guest Speaker: Taylor Hess\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us for our July general membership meeting\, featuring a special talk by Taylor Hess of Appalachian Fishing Guides.  \n\n\n\n\nAppalachian Fishing Guides\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCold\, Clean\, Fishable Water:\n\n\n\nAn Angler’s Perspective on Water Temperature and Wild Trout\n\n\n\nTaylor’s presentation will include topics on: \n\n\n\n\nTrout Metabolism and Water Temperature\n\n\n\nEffects of Warm Water On Trout\n\n\n\nBest Practices for Warm Weather Trout Fishing\n\n\n\nSeasonal Temperature Shifts\n\n\n\nAlternatives to Trout Fishing In Summertime\n\n\n\n\n\nOver a decade of working experience in the industry has landed Taylor Hess on rivers from Alaska\, Idaho\, Montana\, and Mid-Atlantic states. Taylor owns Appalachian Fishing Guides LLC\, based out of Lock Haven\, PA where he curates guided angling experiences across central Pennsylvania’s diverse fisheries. Outside of guiding\, Taylor is a landscaper and gardener. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNon-members are invited to attend!\n\n\n\nOur General Membership Meetings are always open to the public. All are invited to attend\, including non-members\, family and friends. \n\n\n\nDIRECTIONS: There is a new Main Gate at Fort Indiantown Gap. To access the Community Club for our meetings\, take exit 85B north on Rt. 934 (Fisher Road) from I-81 to the main gate. After checking in at the security station\, the road winds around to a traffic light where you take a right and continue north on Fisher Road. The Community Club is located on the left just before the intersection with Clement Road.
