DESCRIPTION:Capital Region Water (CRW) is extending an invitation to those who would be interested in participating in a litter cleanup along Clarks Valley Road (S.R. 325)\, followed by a pizza lunch and tour of the DeHart property\, including the dam and reservoir. \n\n\n\nAfter brief opening remarks by CRW officials at 8:30 AM\, crews will be organized for the litter pickup along the DeHart section of the highway. Lunch will be served upon completion of the litter pickup before heading out for the facilities tour. Activities will wrap up at about 1:00 PM. \n\n\n\nSo\, if you’re interested in helping out and learning more about the Clarks Creek watershed in the process\, please register the link\, below. Registration will be limited to 40 people. A rain date is set for Sunday\, June 11th.

SUMMARY:Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup: Clarks Valley Road
DESCRIPTION:CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS\n\n\n\nThe Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited will provide trash bags\, safety vests\, gloves and bottled water for volunteers. We split our volunteers into teams of two or three and walk along the shoulders of the highway\, some teams going uphill and others downhill. \n\n\n\nVolunteers pick up trash\, litter\, and assorted junk\, with the intent of keeping that human-generated trash out of Clarks Creek. \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the parking lot located 5 miles from the turn-off unto Clarks Valley Road\, if coming from the West. The parking lot is on a hill/raised area above the main road. There will be a sign marking the parking lot. \n\n\n\nWe never have enough volunteers\, so if you are interested in helping\, please contact Dennis Coffman by email at dcoffman@dftu.org to let him know
